Lifetime futurity/derby earnings less than
$500 prior to our event.
Entry Fee: $20.
Highest placing Amateur in Futurity & Derby will receive an award.
Cowgirl Tuff Northern Regional Tour 2D Side Pot
The 2010 Cowgirl Tuff Northern Regional Tour Finals will be held . Contestants choosing to run for year end awards and money must enter the side pot in each go round. This side pot is open to any contestant at the Northern Lights Barrel Futurity & Derby.

has no money added.
Entry Fee: $15/round
- 30% GO ROUND 1
- 30% GO ROUND 2
- 20% SHORT GO
- 20% AVERAGE
GO-ROUND PAYOUTS
Two go-rounds will each payout with the following splits (7/10 second splits).
- 1D - 80% - 6 places paid (31 or more entries), 4 places paid (30 & under entries)
- 2D - 20% - 2 places paid
Ground money stays in division if not enough horses to fill placings.
TOP 10 SHORT GO & AVERAGE PAYOUT
The Short Go and Average will payout the same splits as follows:
- 1st place - 40%
- 2nd place - 30%
- 3rd place - 20%
- 4th place - 10%
Short Go Finalists will consist of the Top 10* horses from Futurity & Derby
We will use each horse's fastest time (best of 2 go's) to determine qualification & placing
in short go for both Futurity & Derby. Champions will be determined by cumulative time from fast time plus short go time.
